Flat rate or up front price examples**. Many common residential electric repairs cost in the Chicago, IL area is in $150 - $450 range including the service call, diagnostic fee and replacement part(s). One price does not fit all, each job is unique.

Service Call
* fee $100 - $175 Review your electrical request or repairs.

IMARQ: $99.00 Minimum service call includes up to 1 hour labor!

Diagnostic fee
$100 - $450 Identify the problem. Troubleshooting and testing an electrical issue can be very time consuming due to shorts, open splices, broken wires, hidden wiring & junction boxes in the wall or ceiling. (Very common service request: Husband, brother or friend tried to fix the problem and now half house doesn't have any electric power)
NOTE: Most Flat rate electrician charge "X" number of dollars for your first service request and a lower discounted price for the "add-on" work you request while they are still on the job.
